Peace, Be Still.

Peace, Be Still.

Peace, Be Still.

When troubles like billows arise,
When strength seems to fail,
When anxiety courses through us,
Why not like our Master say:
“Peace, be still.”

When challenges stare at us,
When hope is almost lost,
When the heart prefers its own will,
Why not like our Master say:
“Peace, be still.”

For the Master, facing the tempestuous wind,
Did not cringe in fear,
But looking the wind in the face,
Spoke out in faith:
“Peace, be still”

For surely tests will come,
Trials and temptations will surface,
However, the choice is ours –
Whether to run or stand and say:
“Peace, be still!”
