Fire meets Ice

Fire meets Ice!

Fire meets Ice!

Ice…in the flesh,
Thrice through the thresh.

Hearts oozes venom,
Dart-falls at blossom.

Doors say “Nay!”
Butterflies can’t play!

But…
Love on the Search,
Then…
Fire to the Fetch!

Fire meets Ice,
Out fly the lice!

The Sun smiles and sits
In a heart now full and fit.

Ice turns water;
In drifts a salter;

And the glow that shines…to the full,
When love wins you!

Give Love a Chance…

Poet’s Note: Now…
I wrote this poem for someone very dear to me.
I sincerely hope she heeds the subtle advice in the poem.
