Fire meets Ice

Fire meets Ice!

Fire meets Ice!

Ice…in the flesh,
Thrice through the thresh.

Hearts oozes venom,
Dart-falls at blossom.

Doors say “Nay!”
Butterflies can’t play!

Love on the Search,
Fire to the Fetch!

Fire meets Ice,
Out fly the lice!

The Sun smiles and sits
In a heart now full and fit.

Ice turns water;
In drifts a salter;

And the glow that shines…to the full,
When love wins you!

Give Love a Chance…
1 John 4:18.

Poet’s Note: Now…
I wrote this poem for someone very dear to me.
I sincerely hope she heeds the subtle advice in the poem.
